Cooinda Park will be hosting Quentin Stapleton for a Cow Horse Essentials One-Day Clinic 9 am-5 pm Sunday, July 12th
Quentin will teach each rider the basic foundation skills needed on any horse for working cattle as well as the skills need to manoeuvre and position their horse correctly on the mechanical cow, which can then be used when working live cattle. This a great clinic entry-level clinic for riders wanting to learn the basic skills required to enter any cow-related sport or a day out for the horse and rider doing something a bit different.
Training will be provided using the mechanical cow only.
The day will start at 9 am, please arrive by 8:30 am.
Lunch will be provided and tea, coffee and water will be available all day.
Riding Positions $160 including lunch
Fence-sitters positions $40 including lunch.
Fence-sitters are $40 lunch & drinks included.
Maximum 12 riders, $60 deposit required to secure your riding position.
Overnight camping available before and after the clinic.
Campsite $10 per night
horse yard $10 per night
Stable $30 per night
Conditions of booking for Cooinda Park Events
All events require a deposit and this amount will change depending on the cost of each event.
The deposit is non-refundable, payment will be held to secure your riding or fence-sitting spot, full payment is due 14 days before the event day. No refunds will be provided 7 days out from the event unless a replacement rider is found, Rider swaps are permitted.
